Ivan Nova Returns to Form


After featuring poor command thus far this spring, sophomore starter Ivan Nova delivered a strong performance today versus the Boston Red Sox, in Tampa.  Nova showed good control all day, and of finished up with four innings of scoreless, two-hit ball.  Ivan walked zero and struck out three, while throwing 35 of 55 pitches for strikes.  Mo, Logan and Phelps all looked sharp during their respective innings as well. …

Yankees Sign 3 Players


Michael Pineda, Ivan Nova, and Eduardo Nunez have signed one year deals with the Good Guys.  None were free agents, nor were they eligible for arbitration.  Pineda signed for $528,475, Nova for $527,200, and Nunez for $523,800.  The minimum salary this year is $480k…  not bad.
